Andy Cooley wins his second trial for the UW this year.

KBM’S Andy Cooley recently won a defense verdict in a trial at Snohomish County Superior Court. The plaintiff suffered a severe leg injury during her Paramedic Training Program administered by the University of Washington and Harborview Medical Center. During one aspect of the training, the students were asked to do an escort technique with another student. The plaintiff claimed she was asked to do the escort technique at full speed. On the other hand, the instructors testified that they told the class to do everything at half speed. After a nine days of trial testimony and argument, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the University of Washington and Harborview. Congratulations Andy!
