Attorney fees awarded in land use cases

by KBM Lawyers

Stephanie Croll has been awarded reasonable attorney’s fees by the courts in two different cases.  In Grandview v. City of Burlington, Stephanie and the City Attorney were awarded their reasonable attorney’s fees by Division I of the Court of Appeals for prevailing in a land use case at the local level, then again at the trial court level, and finally again on appeal, pursuant to RCW 4.84.080.

In New Cingular v. City of Clyde Hill, Stephanie and the City Attorney were awarded their reasonable attorney’s fees by the trial court as provided for by the City’s Code, for obtaining a dismissal with prejudice of the plaintiff’s attempt to appeal the City’s imposition of a fine pursuant to a Notice of Violation.  Way to go Stephanie!

“Steve Thorsrud of Keating, Bucklin and McCormack was my lawyer. He put me at ease, and he did a great job of representing me through trial.”
