Congratulations to Mark Bucklin

Mark Bucklin. long-time member of the FDCC, was featured this month with the organization.  Mark has been a founding member of KBM since 1979. He served as the President, Managing Shareholder and Chairman of the Board of Directors from 1982 to 2011.  He has been an FDCC member since 1994 and has been designated a civil litigation "Super Lawyer" by peer poll in Washington Law and Politics Magazine. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Washington State University in 1972 Phi Beta Kappa and his J.D. from the University of Puget Sound in 1975. He was admitted to practice in 1975 and commenced his legal career as a Deputy Prosecutor.

Mark’s legal practice encompasses a wide range of defense litigation areas including civil rights, police liability, employment law, personal injury, complex litigation involving governmental operations, property/casualty loss and policy development and review. Mark also serves as the General Counsel for Washington Cities Insurance Authority since 1981. WCIA is Washington State's largest and oldest self-insurance pool for government entities in the State with over 160 governmental entity members.
