Debbie Garrido spearheads KBM's successful fundraiser
by KBM Lawyers
Thank you to KBM Office Administrator Debbie Garrido for spear-heading KBM’s first foray into Food Lifeline’s Food Frenzy to raise money for Food Lifeline, which coordinates solutions to stop hunger and provides meals to food assistance programs. KBM employees participated for the first time in the Food Frenzy’s 25th year, which overall raised a record $540,000 from a number of companies participating from the legal, accounting, marketing, construction, government, and technology sectors—encouraging companies to come up with creative and fun ways to raise money. Bake sales, book sales, a Hawaiian themed-lunch, coffee sales, and even having to pay to get a bizarre life-sized cut-out of a fishnet-stockinged woman’s leg removed from your office (yes, it’s as weird as it sounds) and deposited at someone else’s desk kept our office guessing and depositing dollars to contribute to Food Lifeline.
